MOC Structure

Magnesium cements were the only cements known before portland cement was invented and used. There are evidences of its use in China Wall and some South Indian temples.It consists of three types:

A. Magnesium oxy chloride.

B. Magnesium oxy sulphate,

C. Magnesium oxy phosphate.

All these cements are two component cements and bond very well with vegetative materials.Using appropriate moulds structural Components like wall panels,trusses and perlims were produced using bamboo  cores as reinforcement. The  result was a 17 element 4m X 4m X 2m structure.Cladding can be done by using any local cladding material.The only disadvantage is that one has to overcome its  poor water bearing capacity
