Bamboo Sap

When bamboo shoots sprout out of ground,a cut was effected at its tip and liquid (sap) oozing out from cut is collected and different tests are carried out on the sap .For different varieties of bamboos, quantity as well as ph value is different.Twelve varieties of bamboos were tested.The 24 hrs.quantity varies from 50ml. to 200ml. and ph value falls between 4 & 6.The detail test of one sample found to contain free amino acids. Further investigation needs to be carried out.
