Pallets have assumed an important role in the manufacturing environment as they aid in smoother handling and movements of materials. However the conventional wooden pallets are prone to  innumerable problems like swelling,rotting and termite attack.

Moreover it is becoming increasingly more difficult to find quality grade wooden raw material at a suitable price. Alternatives like aluminum  and stainless steel are difficult to use because of heavy weights and high costs.
